I recently took part in another TV and film piece however in this one I had a main role. I played Mary Warren in the scene where Abigale 'see's' a yellow bird. We used many different camera angles and are now in the process of editing. i really enjoyed filming and am looking forward to performing again. Once the editing has been done I will post it on here for all to see.

TV and Film
Over the last few days we have been converting our Crucible scenes into short three minute TV and Film clips. I have found this to be great fun and have enjoyed doing it. I have taken part in the scenes as an extra and have been paying attention to the different camera angles that have been called out.
I have also noticed how little space you are given to perform in on camera which is much different to performing on stage in a tremendous amount of space. I am looking forward to doing more TV and Film in the future.

On Wednesday the 18th of November we performed our interpretation of the Crucible. I think that the performance went incredibly well considering the week before the performance we were struggling to complete a run through. I also think that I performed Giles Corey very well, I carried my accent through the entire piece and kept all of my lines. All in all it was a great performance.
Throughout my time rehearsing the Crucible I have come across many difficulties, performing as a man being one of them. I struggled to connect with the character but kept trying and soon found my own version of Giles Corey. I have done this by observing people similar to him and mimicking their moves.

The Crucible
I am currently involved in my class project of naturalism. For this topic we have been given the script of the Crucible. I have been given the role of Giles Corey who is an old man in his late 70's. I have to admit when I was given this role I was a bit worried as I have never taken on the role of a character of the opposite sex or of an elderly person; but was excited to explore and develop a character suited to the piece.
